He also flew ice patrol from [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Summerside,_Prince_Edward_Island Summerside] in [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prince_Edward_Island Prince Edward Island] to [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iqaluit Iqaluit] in [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baffin_Island Baffin Island] in an [http://www.airliners.net/photo/Nordair-%28Environment-Canada/Lockheed-L-188C%28IR%29-Electra/0070408/M/ Electra L-188] used for ice reconnaissance.
