December 2015 -- Castrol has announced a plug 'n play oil system for engines. Nexcel contains the engine oil and filter in a plug-in box, allowing both to be replaced in 90 seconds. The concept allows specific blends of oil to be packaged for different engines.

The sealed oil system prevents spillage and more certain recycling of oil.
